Today, I’ve got a fantastic tip to share with you on how to revive your curtains if they’ve taken on a yellow or grayish tint. But before we dive into that, here’s another handy trick you might want to try out.

Before tossing your curtains into the washing machine, make sure you don’t lose those hooks.

Losing them or having them get caught in the curtain after a wash is a common hassle, but there’s a simple way to avoid it.

If you’re dealing with a long curtain, fold it in half and then roll it up.

Take a white sock and use it as a sleeve for your curtain to keep those hooks in check. Slide it in, and you’re good to go.

Now, onto the magic for brightening those curtains! I like to use aspirin for its excellent whitening properties.

Just pop two aspirin tablets into the drum of your washing machine. Next, grab a bag of baking powder.

Don’t worry if it’s past its expiration date; it’ll still do the trick.

Pour the baking powder into the detergent compartment—yes, the second one.

And, as usual, add your liquid and powder detergent along with fabric softener in the middle compartment.

I prefer the manual washing program to avoid excessive wrinkling, setting it at a gentle 30°C. Once the cycle is complete, you’ll be amazed at how your once-faded curtains now boast a snowy white shade.

I hope you find this tip helpful! Your support means the world to us!

Cheers to bright and beautiful curtains!
