Authorities in Wisconsin are delving into alarming social media posts made by Natalie Rupnow, attempting to understand her unsettling passions.
The focus is on Natalie Rupnow, a 15-year-old identified by police as the individual responsible for the tragic events in Wisconsin where a student and a teacher lost their lives.
Natalie’s social media trail reveals images from a gun range showing her engaged in clay pigeon shooting, shared on her father’s Facebook.
This has sparked discussions online, suggesting that her familiarity with firearms might stem from this recreational activity.
In one photograph shared by her father, Natalie can be seen donning a t-shirt from the German rock band KMFDM, a group that was also favored by Eric Harris from the Columbine tragedy.
Furthermore, her online posts hint at a troubling fascination with extremist ideologies and infamous school shooters, something she expressed alongside a quote from the notorious ‘Unabomber’ Ted Kaczynski.
Images purported to be from her manifesto portray a child feeling isolated, possibly indicating a challenging home environment. She labeled herself a ‘loner’ and discussed her therapist, expressing sentiments of loss, stating, ‘I mourn for friends, but sooner or later they leave.’ These pages, demanding revolution, conclude with the Unabomber’s quote: ‘Finally, one learns that boredom is a disease of civilization.’
In addition, she supposedly posted images of Parkland shooter Nikolas Cruz and Columbine’s ‘trenchcoat mafia’ members Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold.
Although investigators are actively looking for answers, they have yet to determine a clear motive or confirm if Harris’ infamous 1999 assault was a source of inspiration for Natalie.
Natalie, a student at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, Wisconsin, gravely wounded six people, two of whom remain in critical condition following the Monday incident.
Ultimately, she succumbed to a self-inflicted wound.
