Recently, Ben Affleck had some unexpected visitors. Both the FBI and LA police made their way to his bachelor pad in Brentwood, just as looming wildfires were causing distress across Los Angeles.
The FBI shared some insight into their presence: โMembers of the FBIโs Ground Intercept task force are conducting activity in the area of the Palisades Fire relative to unauthorized drone activity.โ
They went on to explain, โAgents and our local partners may be visible throughout the area, including at various residences, for this reason.โ
A source close to the situation revealed that the reason for their visit was to check if Affleck had any security footage that might show a private drone. This particular drone, unfortunately, had caused damage to a ‘super scooper’, an aircraft essential for firefighting efforts.
In another recent event, just a week ago, Affleck was seen hurrying to the residence of his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner. This urgent visit was prompted by the need to evacuate his own home.
During this trek to Garnerโs place, he was spotted driving a sleek black SUV. Garner’s home serves as a haven for their three children: Violet, aged 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, who is 12.
Luckily, the very next day, the 52-year-old actor received the good news that his lavish $20 million property had emerged unscathed from the disasters.
A source provided some relief: โBenโs home is still under evacuation order, but he feels so grateful his property is safe for the time being.โ
โBen is very aware that many people werenโt as fortunate and faced tremendous loss. Witnessing such devastation has been heart-wrenching for him… He is actively reaching out to lend a hand to those in need,โ added the source.
In light of these events, it seems Affleck has maintained a connection with his other well-known ex-wife, Jennifer Lopez. Word has it that Lopez has been consistently checking in on him amidst the chaos of the fires, offering her support to not just Ben, but their children as well.
