Donald Trump recently revealed the complete contents of the Oval Office letter that was left behind by former President Joe Biden. This move aimed to bring greater transparency to the nation.
The letter included the following heartfelt message:
“Dear President Trump, As I take leave of this sacred office I wish you and your family all the best in the next four years. The American people — and people around the world — look to this house for steadiness in the inevitable storms of history, and my prayer is that in the coming years will be a time of prosperity, peace, and grace for our nation.
May God bless you and guide you as He has blessed and guided our beloved country since our founding,” stated the letter, which was later shared by Fox News.
The letter was signed with Biden’s signature and dated “Joe Biden 1-20-25.”
This letter was discovered by the new president on Monday in one of the Oval Office desk drawers. Trump expressed it was a pleasing surprise and appreciated the kind gesture.
He remarked that it was addressed to number 47, acknowledging the respectful nature of the note. On that Monday, he referred to it as a great gesture and described it as nice when asked about it again on Tuesday.
While many anticipated additional comments from Trump, it seems he has his focus set on pressing matters, including a substantial number of executive orders he plans to issue.
