On a somber Tuesday afternoon, a small jet tragically crashed at Falcon Field Airport in Mesa, Arizona, taking the lives of one person and fatally injuring another.

The Federal Aviation Administration confirmed to CNN that the one of the 2 individuals on board the aircraft died in the crash.
