Billie Eilish Makes Very Candid Confession After Coming Out

Billie Eilish, the talented singer and songwriter, recently opened up about a personal aspect of her life in her latest annual Vanity Fair interview. At 22, she candidly shared her experiences since she came out as queer.

In an interview series that she’s been a part of since 2017, Billie touched upon one of her goals for the year. She pointedly smiled and said she aimed for, and indeed achieved, ‘having good sex’. She playfully patted herself on the back during the viewing of her recent interview, adding, “And yes, I’ve had a lot of good sex, so you’re welcome, Billie.”

This open discussion comes after Billie’s public revelation last year about her queerness. In November, she expressed her attraction to women but also admitted to feeling somewhat intimidated by them. She explained, “I have deep connections with women in my life—the friends and family around me. I’m physically attracted to them, but their beauty and presence are somewhat intimidating.”

Billie also shared her feelings about gender identity and femininity, stating, “I’ve never felt like a woman, to be honest. I’ve never felt desirable, I’ve never felt feminine. I often have to remind myself that I’m a pretty girl. I identify as she/her, but I’ve never really felt girl-like.”

In December 2023, Billie elaborated on her earlier revelations, saying, “I kind of thought, wasn’t it obvious? I didn’t realize people didn’t know,” she said at the time. “I just don’t really believe in putting things in boxes. Why can’t we just exist as we are? I’ve been living my truth for a long time, but I hadn’t spoken about it openly before.” She humorously added, “I’m still scared of them [women], but I think they’re pretty!”

Billie’s openness about her personal journey is both touching and relatable, especially to those who may be undergoing similar experiences.
