Two-Year-Old Boy BAKED To Death After Dad DUMPS Him In Room With Space Heater On For 12 HOURS

In a deeply sorrowful incident, a heartbreaking tale has emerged regarding a two-year-old boy who sadly perished under tragic circumstances.

The young boy’s father is now facing charges related to his son’s death, accused of leaving him unattended in a room with a space heater running for an extensive period of almost 15 hours.

It was during the early morning of December 2 that deputies were dispatched following an emergency call. Upon arrival, they discovered little River Carter had passed away in his home.

The unfortunate setting was in a quaint locale nestled between Fayetteville and Charlotte. The child’s room reportedly reached over a sweltering 100 degrees Fahrenheit, according to officials present.

As investigators revealed more details, it was disclosed that the young boy was left for over 12 hours, enduring dangerously high temperatures emanating from the space heater prior to the tragic discovery.

The devastating episode culminated with the coroner identifying the cause of death as hypernatremic dehydration, a result of acute environmental heat exposure in the confined space.

Documents filed in court disclose that the father put the little boy to bed around 3 PM, under the belief that his child was feeling under the weather with cold symptoms and a mild fever.

Checking on his son a couple of hours later, the father opted to turn off the central air conditioning and switch on space heaters in an attempt to conserve power—a decision that tragically cost the life of his child.
