This 61-year-old bodybuilder, Ray Houghton, decided to treat himself with somewhat of an unconventional Christmas gift. An avid lover of tattoos, he has almost completely adorned his body with ink. But believe it or not, there was still one spot left untouched: his genitals. Now, you might find this surprising since that area is both intensely painful to tattoo and rarely on display.

However, Ray, with his adventurous spirit and deep passion for tattoos, chose this challenging task for his Christmas adventure. He wanted his entire body to tell his story, and for him, this was the last chapter needed to feel complete.

Finding a tattoo artist who was willing to undertake such a job wasn’t easy. It took him three months, as many artists shy away from such an unusual request. Yet, Ray finally found one and chose his gym, his comfort zone, as the setting for this intense 4-hour session. Despite the unbearable pain, Ray went through with it.

Today, he takes great pride in his body, a canvas entirely coated with tattoos. His body art investment is substantial, with over £7,500 spent on the process and a total of 240 hours dedicated to it, spread over two years.

Ray’s infatuation with tattoos grew as he noticed the signs of aging on his skin. He confidently states that he feels two decades younger now that his private area also boasts some ink.
